Although she is more of a television personality, Kaushik is all set to debut in an upcoming Bollywood film titled Lollipop Since 1947. The film, which is being directed by Anirudh Chautala, is a political satire set in a lower middle class household where Kaushik plays wife to actor Deepak Dobriyal. Shooting for the film is currently taking place, and the release date has not been mentioned as yet.

Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai To Take Time Slot Of FIR

With the launch of SAB TV’s upcoming show Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai (Frames Productions) from 14 July, the channel’s longest running comedy show FIR (Edit II Productions) will once again see a change in timeslot applicable from 12 July.

As per reports coming in, Tu Mere… will take up FIR’s current 10.30pm slot. It will air every Monday to Friday.

So what happens to FIR?

Cuts in a source: “The Kavita Kaushik starrer serial will become a bi-weekly and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 9pm for an hour. Yes, it will be given more airtime from coming July.”

Confirming the development, Producer Sanjay Kohli (EDIT II) said, “I think this is one show which has managed to constantly maintain a good response despite so many scheduling changes, unlike any other serial. If I go on to analyse, FIR has had time slot changes at least 3 times every year. I would like to thank SAB TV for giving us the opportunity to try and increase the channel viewership on weekends. I want to wish luck to the makers of Tu Mereas 10.30pm is an important slot for the channel. I am sure it will entertain viewers and gift them lot of laughter.”

                 F.I.R. is an Indian television sitcom first shown on July 31, 2006, on SAB TV. The show is produced by Edit II Productions and is being broadcast Monday to Friday nights. The sitcom was nominated for the Best Sitcom category at the Indian Telly Awards in 2009. The sitcom is set in a police station.

           On March 16, 2013, the show took a 20 year leap from 2013 to 2033 but from 8 July 2013 the setting has returned to the present.

Firstly, tell us something about your character? “Ishaani is the perfect Indian girl who believes in love and all the good things in life and I am working really hard to get into the skin of the character. The experience shooting for the show has been incredible so far and I hope that audiences support me as I venture into this new and unknown world of acting.”
What do you enjoy the most, dancing or acting? “I love dancing and it’s my life. Dancing makes me happy but even acting is really exciting and everyday is a new journey for me. Although I am facing lot of difficulties, my director is very sweet and composed and brings the best out of me.”
How is your chemistry with your co-star Shakti Arora? “Shakti is sweet and makes me very comfortable. The best part is that we both share a good chemistry off-screen too. We keep pulling each other’s leg; so chemistry comes naturally.”
Ekta Kapoor is known to be a strict task master, particular about her work. So were you scared before taking up the project? “She is sweet and she has always been there. It is every actor’s dream to be part of Ekta Maam's show. But let me tell you I never thought of being part of television shows. In fact I have never watched Indian television. I always aspired to be a choreographer and acting was never on the cards. However, now that I am making my television debut with the show under the expert guidance of Ekta Maam and the entire talented team I feel elated yet anxious at the same time.”
How did you bag this show? “Ekta maam saw my music video and asked me to come down for an audition. I had no hopes of getting this show but to my surprise, one day I got a call from Balaji saying that I was selected for the role of Ishaani.”
Are you comfortable with love making scenes? “It is a part of our job, so I am fine with it.”

Well it has always been clear the special bond Mahesh Bhatt shares with Bipasha Basu. But it came as a huge surprise for the cast and crew of Alone when Bhatt Sahab (As he is fondly known) came as a surprise on the sets of Alone, who's shooting has begun!! The film stars Bipasha Basu in lead and is being directed by Bhushan Patel, both of whom have worked with Bhatt's in the past and have a great success history too. So needless to say the entire set got along like a house on fire since they had their mentor to witness the shoot. When quizzed, Producer Abhishek Pathak about this surprise said "We were really happy to have Bhatt Sahab on sets, who better than him could have mentored our film Alone which is a Horror love story, a genre best explored and presented by him". The horror flick interestingly is the remake of the Thai horror film Alone which is a worldwide smash hit. The film stars Bipasha Basu and introducing Karan Singh Grover and is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Pradeep Aggarwal under the banner of Panorama Studios

Colors today announced the launch of a new show entitled The Anupam Kher Show – Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai featuring versatile actor Anupam Kher as its host. Saraswatichandra is an Indian television soap opera currently airing on Star Plus and DD National during weekdays. The series first premiered on February 25, 2013 and is based on the Gujarati novel of the same name by Govardhanram Tripathi. Gautam Rode plays the lead role of Saraswatichandra.The show appears on Asianet Plus, dubbed into Malayalam and broadcast as "Swayamvaram".

Summary :

Saraswatichandra Vyas lives in Dubai and is not interested in getting married, but Kumud Sundari Desai has been chosen to be his wife by his father Lakshminandan Vyas. The show's story revolves around their relationship.

After falling in love with each other, right before they were about to get married, Saras finds out the truth about the death of his mother and gets furious. He calls Kumud and cancels the marriage because he is no longer the rich man she was supposed to marry since he blamed his father for his mother's suicide and left his house. Kumud, who was mad about the humiliating situation, gets married to Pramad Dhan Dharmadhikari because her father asked her to, without knowing about him. Pramad turns out to be an alcoholic and tries to threaten Kumud because he was forced to marry her by his father, Buddhi Dhan Dharmadhikari. Alak, Kumud's sister-in-law gets Saras from the road when he was injured because the local police officer Umesh Solanki took his revenge on him and thus Saras was not able to stop Kumud from getting married to someone she doesn't love at all.

Saras renames himself Naveenchandra. The story then revolves around Kumud trying to reform Pramad's alcoholic ways and Saras wanting to help her as he believes it is all his fault. Later Kalika conspires against Kumud with Pramad and he tries to kill her but Saras saves her. Kusum gets married to Danny. After long struggles and dramatic incidents Saras finally marries Kumud.
