Udaan : Upcoing Show on Colors
After the success of Balika Vadhu, Colors TV is now coming out with a new show based on societal issues. Udaan is a show based on child labour. Colors recently released a promo in which we see a poor pregnant woman and her husband selling off the few things that they have one at a time to buy basic necessities.
She finally runs out of things to sell and needs money to fund a funeral and so she and her husband go to the local landlord and ask for money.
The landlord asks them what do they have to trade in order to take the money and then the landlady tells the woman that she should trade the baby in her womb, in order to fund the funeral costs. It is reported that the show will star Suhansini Mulay, Prachee Pathak, Sai Ballal, Ginny Virdi, Moni Rai, Darshan Gurjar, Harshita Ojha and Sai Deodhar.
