DD doordarshan TO launch 5 New Shows
Doordarshan is set to launch a series of new programmes, starting from 6 June 2014. Doordarshan connects with its audience yet again, with fresh content which is full of entertainment and information.
The Shows Comming Soon Are :
Nadiyaan Gaati Hain- From 6th June, every Friday at 7:00 pm
Nadiyaan Gaati Hain is a one of its kind travelogue documentary series on rivers that explores the historical, cultural and social journey of these rivers. Produced by Anupama Productions, Nadiyaan Gaati Hain, a 13 part series, delves deep into the realms of history, mythology and culture to bring out gems of unique information about the six significant rivers of Madhya Pradesh- Narmada, Betwa, Shipra, Tapti, Chambal and Sone.
Bharat Ki Shaan: Let’s Dance- From 7th June, every Saturday & Sunday at 8:30 pm
After five fantastic seasons of unparalleled success of music and dance reality shows, this season of Bharat Ki Shaan has a new look. The new format creates an edge over the monotonous dancing reality shows. Judged by two ace choreographers Ms. Pony Verma and Mr. Sandip Soparrkar, the show is bound to attract eyeballs.
Earth Matters- From 8th June, every Sunday at 10:30 am
Directed and Produced by Mike Pandey, Earth Matters take a hard look at the state of the environment; the diminishing natural resources, the fast disappearing forest cover, the endangered wildlife, urban pollution and the pressures on rural India. The series is not just a doom and gloom series it provides solutions and remedial action that each individual can take at his own level. The series have already won accolades internationally.
Gaon Connection- From 9th June, every Monday & Tuesday at 8:00 pm
To meet the unmet hunger for information in rural India and to inform urban India about the transformation underway in the hinterland, Gaon Connection is slotted to telecast. The idea is to build a bridge with quality content, a connection, hence Doordarshan presents to its viewers this serial Gaon Connection.
Yatra- From 11th June, every Wednesday at 8:00 pm
Yatra is a religious travel guide based show which focuses on a spiritual journey around the Indian temples. The show enlightens the viewer and takes him for a mesmerizing journey of Indian temples.
