Veera
Ek Veer Ki Ardaas... Veera is an Indian television soap opera, which airs on Star Plus. The series premiered on 29 October 2012 and stars Digangana Suryavanshi and Shivin Narang in the lead roles as brother and sister and Vishal Vashishtha and Farnaz Shetty as parallel lead roles, replacing child actors Harshita Ojha, Bhavesh Balchandani, Devish Ahuja and Arshifa Khan respectively after the 15 year leap.
Synopsis :
This is the story of Ranvijay and his half-sister Veera. Ranvi is more of a "unique mother" than a brother to Veera, and they have an unbreakable bond.
Veera returns home after studies and fights with Baldev as she did in her childhood. Slowly she falls in love with her friend, Karan. At the same time, Ranvi is in love with Gunjan. Gunjan receives a proposal, which she accepts. Ranvi is heartbroken but pretends to be happy. Later Veera and Ranvi find out that this person physically abused his ex-wife. Veera and Ranvi stop the wedding, and Gunjan is heartbroken. Ranvi tries to cheer her up. Electricity problems face the village and Karan comes up with the idea of putting up a solar panel to which everyone agree. There is a play of Heer-Ranjha in the village and Veera is Heer and Baldev is Ranjha. Veera comes to know that Karan is cheating them because he is going to take the solar panel back and improve his career. Veera is heartbroken but Ranvi makes her fine. Ratan takes the proposal of Ranvi to Gunjan but she denies it saying that she wanted to take revenge to Ranvi for breaking her marriage. They try to explain that that person is really a divorcee but in vain. Ranvi and Gunjan find out that Veera is the daughter of Sampooran and Amrita (her illegitimate deceased biological mother). Ranvi gets furious but Ratan calms him down. Gunjan takes advantage to this matter and informs Veera the truth. Veera is shocked on knowing this and starts to cry. Baldev consoles her and saves her from an accident then drops her home safely.
Veera is going to London the next day and Ranvi puts their house for auction without Veera's knowledge. Baldev comes to know about this and he rushes to the airport to tell Veera and console her. After that, Veera goes home and, surprises her family but they are all shocked by how Veera comes back home. Veera knows the two biggest secrets of her life; that Ranvi is her half-brother, and her house is up for auction. At night Veera goes to her her father's field to let Sampooran (her deceased father) know (expressing her feelings to the stars) that she is going to fulfill his dreams while Chaiji gets there after following her and then she asks her what's going on and she has to tell the truth and then Veera tells her she has found out the two biggest hidden secrets of her life which is that she is Ranvi's half-sister and Ratan isn't her biological mother. Veera tries to make a plan on opening a school on the fields what was Ranvi and Sampooran's dream.
